Rare painting by famous Art Deco artist Louis Icart depicting an elegant woman driving her automobile. She is drafted in silk with a fur collar and lavish hat. The painting is oil on canvas with Icart’s signature on the lower right. Newly framed in walnut with a golden interior border.
History: Icart was very well known during the Deco period for his lithographs and become famous through this medium. He only did a few paintings in his lifetime, which make them truly special finds.
